Gary Sambrook has:
  • arranged for the planning department to ask enforcement officers to ensure the Academy is meeting all of the planning requirments
  • for the issues to be raised at the City's Public Protection Committee who have responsibility of over viewing air quality and pollution control
  • for a meeting with a Council officer who is currently writing a report into the use of biomass boilers and the affects it can have on public health
Tireless campaigner Gary Sambrook said, "I am firmly against the proposals for the use of a biomass boiler at the academy and agree with local residents suggestions of alternative energy sources, such as ground sourced heating. This is a tough battle but its an important one! As ever as soon as we get more information we will update residents."
