I am writing to update you about the issues you told me about, when I knocked on doors recently.

The two biggest concerns that people raised with me were:

·        Progress on the adoption of the estate and, linked to this, it maintenance. The estate was on course to be adopted a few years ago, but there have been long delays due to problems with adoption by Severn Trent Water of the sewerage system. Meanwhile the estate is not being well maintained and I have written to Barratts to ask them to address this (see overleaf)

·        Recycling collections – I spent a long time campaigning for recycling collections in Highcroft Village and was pleased when they were finally introduced. However, there have been a huge number of missed or partially missed collections recently and I gfind this completely unacceptable. I have asked the council to ensure that this is corrected immediately.
