When I visited Waterford Court recently there were concerns about the overgrown reed bed/wildlife conservation area outside the complex.

Since then I have secured agreement that the reeds will be cut down. There is to be a new reed bed created at Witton Lakes, to improve water cleanliness and the discarded reeds from outside Waterford Court will become part of this new reed bed.

I do not yet have a date when this work will take place but when I do I shall write and let you know.
