This year we have secured over £8000 funding to pay for Youth work across Erdington, this is focused on 3 organisations. Work at the Malcolm Locker, Lyndhurst. Work through the YMCA at the Y on Fosseway drive and through detached work. As well as through detached work from Urban devolution a local group from Perry Common. Robert, who is pictured playing table tennis when on a visit to the Locker, said “we focus on using local groups not only as the jobs funded go locally but also as it is shown with youth work that local groups are able to build a better level of trust with the young people”.
