Recently my team and I have been approached by a number of residents regarding missed refuse collections in the local area. I have reported these to the Council and most have been cleared. However I am very concerned that it is now becoming a more regular occurrence.

Residents living in the local area, deserve to have a reliable and  quality refuse collection that comes every week. Not one which only collects residents waste infrequently. Therefore I am raising the issues of the missed collections with the Cabinet member for Birmingham City Council Fleet and Waste department. Hopefully this will ensure that the service improves.

To help me hold the Council to account and ensure that residents get the quality refuse collections they deserve I am asking residents to contact me to let me know of any missed collections or failures to clean up. If you do not recieve a survey from me in the coming weeks then please email or text me with the details. I am detemrined that this poor preformce should be tackled head on.
