Stockland Green’s two Labour Councillors have refused to back my proposal for a flagpole flying England’s flag on the Green St George's Day on the Green next year, which means that funding has been refused.

Labour are ashamed of our flag and think it should be hidden away on our national day. I think we should all be proud of our flag and not hand it over to racists and extremists by hiding it away.
