Robert and Gareth outside the proposed site for the take away

Cllr’s Robert Alden and Gareth Moore have been leading the fight to stop the planned take-away for 61 Mason Road, being given planning permission. The petition which they were collecting has been handed into the Council with over a hundred names on it! Local resident Robert said “they want to open the take away from 6am to 2.30am! This is a residential area and this kind of operation is totally unacceptable. Even on Erdington High Street the take-aways do not open until 2.30am. Residents can rest assured we will continue to fight the application.”

Gareth added "thank you to everyone for signing our petition".
